Abstract

This book provides a thorough discussion of domestic violence, as it is configured in nowadays Romania. The volume is made of nine chapters, each of them exploring distinct facets of the phenomenon. Emphasis is put on the factors that have the potential to lead to domestic violence, such as alcohol consumption, and on the importance of coherent and adequate policies to address the phenomenon and provide support for its victims.
